Chair John Bartlett, MD, received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth University in 1959 and earned his medical degree at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York in 1963. He then completed residency training in internal medicine at the Brigham Hospital in Boston and the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Dr Bartlett also completed fellowship training in infectious diseases at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and at the Wadsworth Veterans Administration Hospital. In 1970, he joined the faculty at UCLA. He later moved to the faculty of Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, where he served as Associate Chief of Staff for Research at the Boston Veterans Affairs Hospital. |

Faculty Marin Kollef, MD, attended the US Military Academy at West Point for his undergraduate training and the University of Rochester for his doctor of medicine. Dr Kollef completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. He served as the Director for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center from 1988 to 1992. |

Faculty Rob Owens, PharmD, received his doctor of pharmacy degree from Mercer University in Georgia. He went on to complete a pharmacy residency at DeKalb Medical Center in Atlanta and an infectious disease fellowship at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. He provides clinical services as a pharmacy specialist and codirector of the Antimicrobial Sewardship Program. Dr Owens is Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Vermont College of Medicine and serves as a faculty member in the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program at Maine Medical Center. |
